Vicenta opened the stall in the early eighties, and her name stayed on the sign. Her daughter Ángela grew up between the counter and the cold room and, over the years, took over, keeping the same loyal customers.
Carlos, Ángela's husband, started out lending a hand on Saturdays and ended up learning the trade by her side. Today he runs the stall: he works with trusted farmers, makes the butifarras and burgers on site, and cuts every piece to order. No rush, the way it's always been done at the market.
“If I wouldn't take it home, I don't sell it.”
